Welcome to Little Sunflowers!
We are a mixed-age early learning centre in Nelson, catering to children from 0 to 6 years old. Little Sunflowers is nestled in a charming villa-style building, thoughtfully converted to create a warm, homely environment—offering children a true home away from home.
Our passionate and dedicated teachers support each child's unique interests and learning journey while building strong, trusting relationships with every family. At Little Sunflowers, we embrace a love for music, play-based learning, and a fun-filled atmosphere where children can thrive.
We encourage families to visit our centre before enrolling, giving them the opportunity to meet our team and ensure that Little Sunflowers is the perfect fit for their child. Once enrolled, we recommend three settling visits with a parent or caregiver to help ease the transition into our nurturing environment.
Our Philosophy

🌻 Our centre embraces diversity, respecting and celebrating each family's cultural beliefs, values, and aspirations while embedding all of New Zealand’s national languages.
