Kindercare Manurewa
Kindercare is committed to keeping children safe, loved and learning in the early years of their life, in partnership with parents. Our centre is conveniently located for families in Manurewa, Takanini, Hillpark, Alfriston and Totara Heights.
At Kindercare Manurewa we are dedicated to providing a secure and stimulating environment where each child can develop and learn at their own pace, with age-appropriate activities for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. We believe in creating a nurturing and loving atmosphere where your child feels valued and inspired to explore and grow. Our centre also values strong partnerships with whānau, offering flexible childcare options, high-quality kai, and a multicultural team to support your child's growth and development.
Give your child The Kindercare Advantage— our curriculum that is based on Aotearoa’s early childhood framework, Te Whāriki, designed to build your child’s confidence, resilience, and self-esteem. Our program includes four foundational pillars to nurture your child, nourish and move their growing bodies and inspire creativity.

Aranga Early Childhood Centre
Our Philosophy Statement
We are purposely built as the tail of Manu Tukutuku (the kite). Using this analogy, this is our story.
Without the constancy of the tail, it may result in the kite spinning and rolling and thus the kite is unstable and unable to remain neither flying nor fly very high.
Our name Aranga, means rising up or setting out and to ensue or to succeed.
A flying kite with a tail in the right environment can add strength, guidance, longevity, knowledge of direction and stability; as such we believe Manu Tukutuku (the kite) needs the support and provision the tail can provide to set out, to rise up and to succeed in its continual journey.
Our indicators to achieving these is:
Being welcoming, approachable, secure and nurturing, professional and supportive
Kaiako to utilise tamariki strengths, interests and ideas to plan and set challenges that promote and develop a love of learning and wonder; exploration, curiosity and a deeper understanding of their theories
Kaiako is present and available; approachable and engaging, attuned and ready to facilitate and support
Following the concept of a tuakana–teina relationship where teaching and learning is reciprocal in all facets of the centre
Talking and listening to our parents and whānau aspirations, views and opinions through conversations, discussions, interviews and surveys
Te Whāriki the NZ ECE Curriculum is used as resource to guide our programme planning and curriculum
Encouraging sustainable environment practises and processes for our future generation (cloth nappies, garden to table concept, storm water solution,
making our own compost, recycling)
