At Pegasus Nest, we love to explore and connect with our beautiful community. From visiting our neighbouring local school to enjoying the serene Pegasus Lake or discovering charming local cafés, the possibilities for adventures on foot are endless. For larger excursions, we ensure comfort and safety by utilising transport options such as a bus, making every outing an enjoyable experience for all.

Pegasus Nest is a lunchbox centre, which means tamariki bring their own kai from home each day. This helps children enjoy the foods they’re familiar with and supports their individual needs and routines. We encourage whānau to pack healthy, nourishing options, and our kaiako model positive eating habits throughout the day. Our focus is on creating a calm, supportive mealtime environment where children can enjoy their food, learn independence, and develop lifelong healthy eating habits

Our Team and School

• A minimum booking of two days per week is required
• Operating hours are 7.00 AM to 5.30PM
• Maximum of 6 hours ECE funding available per day
• Figures in the schedule include a daily food charge of $4.00.
• A maximum fee of $350 per week applies for under-twos.
• A 10% sibling discount is available.
• You may be eligible for assistance with paying your fees
