At Early Years, we embrace the theories of Constructivism and Progressive Education as the basis for our educational approach. This means we use a variety of learning resources and highly personalised learning based on the interests of the children. The mixed-age area provides open spaces that offer our children more choices and experiences than smaller classrooms do. We also provide a safe space in a separate classroom for infants and toddlers who are not yet ready to join the main spaces.
Our professionally researched education approach draws upon several educational methodologies, including Intergenerational Centres, Nature and Forest Kindergartens, Reggio Emilia, and Resources for Infant Educarers (RIE).
