Reggio Emilia Approach

• Discovery & play-based learning. Like Te Whāriki, Reggio Emilia's pedagogy is child-centred and focuses on the idea that the child is inherently creative and intelligent, capable of exploring and discovering for themselves, with both the intention and the right to make meaning in many different ways.
• Intimate Learning Your second home and whānau. Our centre welcomes pēpi and tamariki from 0-5 years old and has a license for up to 35 children. It is our desire to keep relationships authentic and to create meaningful learning experiences with your child. Our practices reflect and celebrate the cultural heritage of our community. • Caring for our Taiao. We're proud to run environmental programmes where children and whānau can explore the importance of sustainable practices. Learning the art of the "3 R's" (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) starts with us and we will encourage your family to come along for this educational journey.
