The center philosophy is deeply inspired by Te Whariki ( The New Zealand Early Childhood Curriculum) and also seeks inspiration from the Reggio Emilia approach. The classrooms are unique and aesthetically set up to provide a variety of open ended learning possibilities for children.
Our programme: The learning program is strongly inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach.Children are respected as capable and competent . They are encouraged to explore actively and form their own working theories of the world around them. Teachers are co learners and actively engage with the children. Parents are encouraged to actively be part of the learning program.
What do we learn: The focus is on developing social skills which support transition into the wider world. In addition there is a strong focus on self help skills and developing one’s own self esteem.
