At Central Kids Glenshea we encourage and support our tamariki, whanau and kaiako/teachers to learn in A tona wa/In their own time. We have an inviting, well-resourced environment to encourage child-initiated play.
Our passion is to support our tamariki to problem solve for themselves and with their peers. Whanau are able to access a neutral, friendly environment, where they feel comfortable to stay with their child, meet other parents and talk with kaiako/teachers. Majority of our whanau hear about us from the wider community. We pride ourselves on the reputation we hold within Putaruru.
We also offer a unique experience of Kohanga Ngahere, where our 8 eldest tamariki go out into the bush (Jim Barnett Reserve) each week to climb higher, explore, imagine, observe, listen, be resilient, wonder why, get messy, test boundaries, take responsible risks, make new friendships and learn to respect Papatuanuku. Our door is always open, come in and see us anytime.
