A little about us

Tic-tac-toe Educare has purposely designed indoor and outdoor learning environment as well as qualified and dedicated teachers who are passionate about Early Childhood Education and care.

Children will experience a fun, caring and safe environment where they learn and grow at their own pace and alongside peers. We use Te Whariki as our foundation for teaching, value the rich and diverse cultural resources children bring into our centres, and plan our learning programmes based on children’s learning needs and interest to foster independence, socialization and positive dispositions among them.

Research tells us of all the wonderful benefits our children receive from Early Childhood Education and learning through play. We make every endeavour to provide equitable learning opportunities and experiences to equip our tamariki with healthy body, mind and spirit, offer them a much greater chance to thrive and become happy, successful, competent and confident learners.

At Tic-tac-toe we make health and safety our top priority followed closely by learning and fun!

Tic-Tac-Toe Educare aims to make our centers the second home for our tamariki. We are committed to the principles surrounding Te Tiriti o Waitangi and work in partnership with whānau to establish a respectful, responsive and reciprocal relationship with the whole learning community. We believe environment is our third teacher, and work collectively to support children in their learning about respecting and caring for our nature, environment, equipment, resources and food.
