The centre borders the grounds of Southwell School enjoying not only a safe and private environment, but also a beautiful backdrop which includes a significant stand of native bush and the adjacent open space known to the school as Jack’s paddock. Our unique playground offers a natural and established area which reflects the beauty of Aotearoa New Zealand.
Our centre is a place where ‘mixed aged’ children can learn and grow together in a family-like environment where the children can enjoy the incredible benefits of learning life skills not always available to children placed in larger segregated centres. We aim to create a ‘home away from home’ where the children will always feel safe and secure.
