Our Story
Taupo Children’s Corner is privately owned by a local family trust, contracted to the Ministry of Education. It exists to give children and their families the best possible early learning and childcare experience.

Lakewood Drive is purpose-built and creates a happy and nurturing environment for your child under one roof. We have a wonderful outdoor play and exploration area and love the ‘bottom field’ and all the outdoor adventure time that it gives.
Our teachers believe in knowing your children and identifying their strengths, abilities and interests. Our program provides experiences based on the interest of the child/children. This learning and development is documented in the child’s individual profile book.
We offer a safe learning environment where your child is encouraged to interact, explore and make decisions. Teachers work alongside your child on an individual basis, as well as in group activities, to develop you child’s interests and abilities.
