Back 2 Basics Childcare

Back 2 Basics is a purpose-built family owned and operated Childcare Centre in Maungatapere.

The centre was built on the Taylor family's land. It was designed with the aim to create an open plan environment for fun, education, fresh air and natural outdoor exploration which we believe are all very important elements in the healthy development of our children.

Back 2 Basics is made up of 3 different buildings

• The main centre which was opened in 2013. It has two areas one for our under 2 year olds and one for over 2 year olds.
• Room 2 which was added in 2019 and has been designed for our older children who are starting their transition to school
• The Resource shed and community room which was added in 2017 and hold our recourses and a meeting room which was built for our staff and community groups to use.
