Our Vision
Our task, regarding creativity, is to help children climb their own mountains, as high as possible. No one can do more.

We here at Pitter Patter strive to make a beautiful Reggio-Inspired centre, a place where we are sincerely committed to nuture, facilitate, and grow your child’s learning potential. Our learning culture is based on relationships and respect. We are aiming at making our children confident and competent learners for life. We are proud of our passionate teachers who are making sure all the children are getting opportunities for our children to learn and self-discover.
Our richly resourced, and Reggio inspired environment acts as the third teacher for the children.
Our Philosophy
Thee centre has been highly influenced by the Reggio Emilia Philosophy; hence its beauty and natural feel!
At Pitter Patter we respect our children and understand that each of them has individual wants and needs. We believe that learning can only be fostered from a feeling of mutual respect, guidance, and direction, and do our very best to maintain those values in everything we do. Our unique approach supplies our children with the proper support system that will help lead them down the path to success.
Our innovative environments have been carefully designed and abundantly resourced with the warmth of natural resources to encourage children’s creativity and social interactions.
There is a love for natural materials throughout the inside and outdoor spaces, which invites and offers children the opportunity to explore the wonderful sensory experiences nature has to offer.
Children learn through investigations based on their interest. And as teachers we thrive to provide this through our child-centered philosophy which is inspired by Reggio Emilia Approach and is based on principles and goals of Te Whaariki, our national curriculum.
