At Peterhead kindergarten we believe that our families are our greatest asset and we strive to create a warm and welcoming place where children, whanau, families and teachers all feel that they belong, that they are heard, that their contributions are important and they are valued as members of our kindergarten family. We are blessed with an extensive playground full of large trees to provide natural shade, open grassy areas and places to run, to play, to wonder and to explore.
Inside we strive to create an environment that is homelike and respectful and which inspires exploration, curiosity, creativity, makes links with our families and celebrates all the cultures within our community.
We use ICT extensively to document, celebrate, share and involve families in the learning and the fun that happens for all of us every day.
