ABC Educare Early Learning Childcare Centre in New Plymouth
Management and teachers provide respectful and authentic learning environments to encourage children’s natural desire to play and learn and develop social competence. We strive to provide a strong foundation of respectful practice where children emerge as independent, competent and confident learners.
We use an emergent curriculum to prepare the environment for children’s play, ideas, thoughts and understanding to be explored. The language of the virtues guide our teaching practices and strengthen our relationships with tamariki.

Little House - (0 - 2 years)
We believe in developing warm, nurturing and responsive relationships between teachers and tamariki based on trust. We advocate positive attachment for infants and toddlers through key teaching and familiar teachers.
Middle House - (2 - 3.5 years)
At the Middle House we celebrate children’s imagination and curiosity. Our centre culture embraces children’s natural urges for play, exploration and independence that is achieved through uninterrupted play and the provision of open ended resources.
Big House - (3.5 - 6 years)
