A little about us

We are a high quality non-profit early childhood centre located in a beautiful semi-rural setting.  We receive funding from the Ministry of Education and have low child to teacher ratios and a high proportion of fully qualified and registered teachers, well above Ministry of Education requirements.

You and your children are the most important members of our Centre. We plan our programme and run our day to day activities with your child’s needs and interests as our first priority. It is important to us that your child is happy, safe and secure and we build positive relationships with your children, our families and whānau.

We provide high quality education and we work very close with our families and whānau to provide learning experiences that are meaningful and focused on collaborative learning and teaching plans. Teachers use intentional teaching strategies to develop specific learning goals.

Our philosophy

Relationships/Whanaungatanga:

We establish warm, respectful relationships - an expression of manaakitanga - between children, families,

and teachers in our multicultural environment.

Learning & Growing/Ako & Tupu

In a fun environment where achievements are celebrated, children are given time to make discoveries and develop responsibilities

through their strengths and interests.

Character/Manatangata

Our environment is safe, warm and inviting.  We support all ākonga to actively participation, contribution, taking risks and the joy self-discovery.
