Our kindergarten in the quiet suburb of Papakowhai benefits from a large outdoor area with mature trees. Many native birds visit and feed in our garden. The gardens are nature’s teacher as the tamariki learn to plant and harvest food.
Our tamariki have interesting places to climb and explore including trees, boxes and the bank by the school. We have a hammock to relax in and many separate spaces for busy children to learn and have fun.
We are adjacent to Papakowhai School which means family and friends can meet at the school fence.
Our established team of five teachers is 100% qualified and registered. We are supported by an administrator.
We celebrate living in Aotearoa with its dual heritage. We use virtue rocks in our programme to acknowledge tamariki for showing virtues such as caring, friendships, sharing and courage. He iti ra, he iti mapihi Pounamu – Our tamariki may be small but they are very precious.
