Kia Ora. Welcome to All About Children Childcare, Titahi Bay
Aesthetically beautiful childcare centre and designed to support the development of our curious inhabitants, ours is a much-loved childcare centre that has been a part of the Titahi Bay community for more than 22 years (we were previously called Bronwyn’s Place). Our Titahi Bay child care centre open late from 7am to 6pm, we care for children from birth to 5 years.
We take a holistic approach to childcare learning and take children amidst nature as they develop a lifelong love for learning. They’ll climb trees, go for nature walks, jump in puddles … just be kids. Happy kids!
The Titahi Bay difference
Our Titahi Bay Childcare centre offers a loving, warm and stimulating place for your child to grow. But most importantly we offer them an opportunity to learn from nature – just like the good old days. Our day care classrooms come without walls and discovery extends much beyond a fenced small backyard – it takes your child (even babies) into the real backyard – the bush, sea and parks.
We take learning outside the walls and boundary of our childcare centre and into the beautiful natural surroundings of Titahi Bay, Porirua. Your child will climb trees, jump in puddles, look for sea shells … learning while having fun leaves them with a lifetime of memories and strong foundation for all future education. Our unique nature-based early childhood programme is delivered by experienced childcare teachers in partnership with parents and whanau.
Our curriculum emerges from your child’s interests and unfolds and changes each day. As teachers we provide the resources, time, space and support for your child to explore, experiment and try things out. A lot of what we do extends beyond the boundaries of our centre through nature walks and outings – something that sets us apart from others.
