Mill Street Early Learning

A nature-inspired indoor, and enormous park-like outdoor learning environment, provides a home-from-home with space to have fun and explore.

Boasting a beautiful, nature inspired indoor learning environment and a large, spacious outdoor space, we have endless opportunities to explore who we are as learners and contributors, what our bodies are capable of and how to engage with other people, animals and the world around us… all while having fun!

At our centre tamariki and whánau are at the heart of everything we do and we value and encourage our families to participate and contribute in all aspects of their children’s early learning journey. 

With space for infants to pre-school, Ruahine Mill Street Early Learning meets the needs of your young family right up to school.

Our centre is open Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 3.30pm, and closed between Christmas and New Year, plus five days per year while teachers participate in professional development (dates to be advised on enrolment; please note there is no fee charged when the centre is closed). 

An hourly charge of $5 applies for tamariki under two years of age. Three, four and five year old's may attend our centre up to 30 hours at no charge, and two year old's may attend up to 10 hours at no charge - ask our Centre Manager for a copy of our Terms of Trade.
