Carterton Playcentre

Carterton Playcentre proudly boasts a recently renovated building with new child bathrooms and toilets as well as insulated ceilings and a big heat pump for those cold mornings. 

We are situated next to Howard Booth Park on a well developed site including an orchard space that was developed at the end of 2017. We have a mixed membership of rural and urban families from a wide geographical area. Many parks and rural settings allows us easy access to a range of nature sessions. 

We welcome new families both established in the Wairarapa as well as many families migrating from other places.
