You’ll find it at Kindercare’s childcare centre in Kilbirnie, where every day begins and ends with loving care in a warm, nurturing environment. Our dedicated, experienced team, led by our Centre Director, Tania Gleeson, will gently guide your little one as they grow and learn through play, make friends and spend these precious early years having fun.
Our Kindercare team understand that all our whānau are different, and we embrace this. We also recognise your needs are different so we offer different enrolment options to include full day, and part time care and education. We are conveniently located for families in Rongotai, Melrose, Kilbirnie and Lyall bay.

- a nutritious midday meal, prepared fresh at the centre daily – so you won’t need to pack kai

- our Positive Parenting program – offering tips, advice and support for every family
And recognizing that your tamariki has different needs to other tamariki, we ask that you supply your son or daughter’s own bottles, formula and nappies for each day.

Our fun-filled play and learning areas, as well as daily care rituals have been intentionally planned and set up to provide nurturing care for your child from infancy until they are ready for primary school, alongside other tamariki at a similar age and stage of development. Both indoors and outside, you’ll find that we keep your tamariki at the heart of what we do – providing care, creative learning and social opportunities that we tailor to your child’s unique needs.
As soon as you and your tamariki walk in to our natural, engaging early childhood centre, you’ll discover an extension of your own loving home. That’s because our Kaiako understand that when it comes to building nurturing relationships and feeling ‘at home’, consistency in care and familiar faces are so important. So, your child will receive the kind of care you would choose for your child, to fill their days with joy, because they are settled and happy.
