Paula’s have been operating as a family owned operation in the Nelson area since 1994.
Our core emphasis in early childhood education is building a programme centred on strong family values and relationships. Key to this approach is mutual respect towards those that attend the centre (children, teachers, family members, whanau and so on), and providing an environment where children and teachers are comfortable, confident and happy.
Paula’s Preschool has an excellent reputation for quality teaching. Our programmes are planned around children's needs and interests, and our teachers are flexible and responsive to each child, because each child is unique with different needs. Classrooms are bright and colourful and well resourced.
Our outside area has a shaded bike space, soft fall flooring for climbing and running around, a large covered sandpit and plenty of resources for our Tamariki to children the chance to stretch their physical and mental skills and develop their confidence. Our playhouse is a favourite for dramatic play and ‘tea parties’ Warm and friendly, the staff provide a caring environment where children feel nurtured and safe.
