Bellevue Kindergarten in Newlands offers a warm and welcoming environment to children and families. We recognise the importance of working in partnership with parents and have strong relationships with whanau, who are welcome to stay with their child at any time. Bellevue has a hard-working committee of parents who support our teachers.
The programme offered is strong in numeracy, literacy and art and teachers respond to children’s interests and needs. Our programme recognises and respects New Zealand’s bicultural heritage and our older children take part in kapa haka sessions weekly.
We value, respect, and celebrate the different cultures of our families and welcome the contribution these make to our programme.
We have recently completed a full upgrade of our outside environment with new safety surfaces and gardens.
