We’re private family run Preschool situated on a large rural block in Pukekohe, South of Auckland. It was opened in 2014 by business partners and Early Childhood Educators, Michelle Flay and Kerryn Brown.
Together with their families and mixed with their love of the outdoors, they have created a unique environment where children can learn while developing an appreciation for nature, animals and the world around them.
At Country Village Preschool we recognise the uniqueness and diversity of New Zealand. We provide a stimulating environment where our children can freely explore, create and connect with the outdoors and papatuanuku.
They are challenged to build their imaginations through their spontaneous play opportunities as they work together and alongside teachers. Sustainable practices are encouraged to help children learn to care for our world. They learn aroha, kindness and respect from caring for their environment and all things in it.
We recognise our parents as their children’s first teachers and believe in building strong, trusting relationships. Whanau is important and we work with our parents to set specific goals for our children to help them on their journey of becoming confident and competent learners.
We ensure a happy, fun, safe environment that gives our children a sense of belonging while fostering cultural and social competency, and cognitive and physical development. Our teachers educate while supporting a child’s emotional wellbeing and helping them builda strong sense of self and independence.
