Peninsula Early Learning is a 100% community-led, non-profit early childhood centre. This means that your child is a valued part of our whanau and community of learning.
We’re conveniently located in Strathmore - handy to all of the Eastern suburbs of Wellington. We’ve been here for more than 14 years - you might remember us as Peninsula Community Preschool, we’re the same team, just with a new name to better reflect our philosophy.
We offer high quality early childhood education to 3–5-year-olds for a full-week’s programme. We have a small group size of 25 children.
Our building is a modern, purpose-built early childhood education facility. Our open-plan interior is bright, light, and spacious with two separate quiet rooms. Our impressive outdoor learning space includes a big sandpit, taupuni mahi toi/art studio, a carpentry workshop, a working vegetable garden, climbing spaces and lots of nooks in which our children immerse themselves in the natural environment. We are a well-resourced centre with an array of equipment available for the children to use.
