Our kindergarten in the valley offers a warm, welcoming and supportive environment, with a strong emphasis on using the outdoors as another teacher. The curriculum is flexible, fun-filled and challenging, where risk-taking and freedom of choice is encouraged.

Our History

Kaikorai Kindergarten opened in the Presbyterian Church Hall in 1924. Community fundraising and volunteer work capitalised on the then government’s commitment to kindergarten and the  Greenock Street site was developed in the late 1950’s. The kindergarten moved there in 1960
