Rainbow Preschool

Rainbow Preschool is a community based, non-profit, Christian Early Childcare Centre that is licensed by the Ministry of Education.

Our qualified and caring teachers provide individual and group experiences through play-based and self-select programs, that have been designed to enhance, extend and challenge children’s thinking and learning.

We offer a variety of experiences daily to provide a stimulating programme for children. Learning opportunities are based on children's skills, knowledge, attitudes and dispositions. These may be captured through narratives, and parent contributions to stimulate further learning and teaching opportunities.

Our programmes are made up of the following:

• Based on Te Whariki, the Early Childhood Curriculum.
• Planned Group Activities
• Individual learning opportunities planned with parent/teacher consultation
• Regular narratives collated in children's profiles
