A little about us

Active Explorers Invercargill is a modern, purpose built centre in the heart of town. With  Queens Park, the local museum and the library on our doorstep, our children have plenty of opportunities for spontaneous excursions! Our dedicated team of teachers deliver the highest quality care across four separate rooms, each specially designed so that our tamariki can grow and develop in an age appropriate environment. Our vibrant playgrounds and outdoor areas are well crafted for Southland’s changeable weather, so our little Active Explorers can enjoy outdoor activities all year round.

Are you looking for the best for your child? Thanks to our well thought out curriculum, high teacher to child ratios, and inclusive, nurturing environment we can give your child the ideal start. Add to this our subsidised swimming programme, participation in Polyfest, and exciting holiday programmes, and it’s easy to see why we are the centre of choice for so many families.

Come and join us at Active Explorers Invercargill.
