Waterloo Kindergarten

The teaching team at Waterloo Kindergarten have created an environment which provides a range of opportunities for children to engage in, explore, follow their interests and with teachers intentionality of teaching, progress their learning and development. The team promote curiosity and discovery. The kindergarten has a focus on and is rich in early literacy experiences. The kindergarten’s environment encourages exploration of the natural world with its trees, busy enclosures, gardens and bird life. The kindergarten is involved with the Waterloo Community Gardens and promotes links within the community. Children’s knowledge is valued and celebrated, which has created an environment where the children are excited about learning.
