Ao Kids | Pasifika Early Learning is an early childhood family owned organisation in Aotearoa, New Zealand. Te Whāriki curriculum is embedded through our cultural values and is an important part of our practice here at Pasifika Early Learning. We are fostering a love for learning, innovative thinking, building and moulding strong leaders for future generations to come and with this we are ensuring our children are confident within their own ethnic heritage here in Aotearoa, New Zealand.

Philosophy

Pasifika Early Learning will maintain and promote Pasifika Culture, language, values and heritage of Pasifika people. We will endeavor to deliver quality Early Childhood Education with reference to holistic development of our Tamariki.

We will create a challenging and stimulating environment that encourages innovative play and relevant learning. Our curriculum will apply, practice and embody Te Whariki through age appropriateness experiences that promotes all elements of Hauroa and cognitive development of our Tamariki.

fees

We value the service that we provide for you and your child/ren and therefore to keep ahead of change in cost we review our fee schedule yearly. A months notice is to be provided upon any changes.

Fees for ages 0 - 5 Years 11 Months $6 per hour depending on the hours enrolled will determine the total weekly fee. A minimum of three hours and two days is required for enrolment to be accepted.

Our preferred method of payment is via Automatic Direct Credit (AP) into our school bank account.

ECE Hours

Pasifika Early Learning | Ao Kids offers 20 ECE hours to the age group that ministry has identified eligible.

The Maximum hours you can claim is 6 hours per day (20 hours per week) any extra hours will be at the cost of our fees outlined in the previous section.

For further clarification around the 20 ECE Hours, we will happily discuss this further with you when your child becomes eligible. Once your child is eligible you will need to come in and sign an attestation agreement that outlines the designated days for maximising MOE funding.

Childcare Subsidy / WINZ/ ELP

Children who attend a licensed Early Childhood Services have the ability to gain access to childcare subsidy support. There is no fee to fill out the form so we encourage our parents to see if they are eligible for this subsidy as it can help with paying fees. If you would like to apply let the administration staff know and a printout will be given to you. The Administration staff is then able to scan the documents straight to Work and Income for you.
