Wonderkids Childcare & Preschool will endeavor to provide quality learning, caring and nurturing environment to all the children. Wonderkids believes that early nurturing of young children can bring the best out of them in later years. To achieve this, we will provide the best possible environment which “acts as a third teacher and is a vehicle for children’s learning”.
An environment that accommodates all children’s needs and sparks children’s cognitive, physical, intellectual, emotional and social development. Wonderkids Childcare & Preschool will strive to provide an environment that is safe and secure, stimulating, challenging and promotes inclusion. All children will be given every opportunity to take a risk, explore, contribute and develop a sense of wonder and curiosity through first-hand learning.
Wonderkids believes that working in partnership with parents/guardians and Whanau (Family) will further enhance nurturing of young children’s minds. Children can develop their full potential and grow up to become responsible citizens. We will endeavour to provide a rich curriculum in accordance with Te Whariki ( The Early Childhood Curriculumn) where teachers, parents and children become community of learners by being involved.
We foster an understanding of New Zealand’s bicultural heritage and its multicultural communities. We incorporate Te –Reo Maori in our practice and respect the protocols of Tikanga Maori, which is reflected in our teaching practice.
