Mountainside Educare is a pace of aroha, of love. A place where building relationships with your tamariki and their whanau is our driving force behind everything we do. As Dr James Comer said “no significant learning occurs without a significant relationship”.
Mountainside is a place where infants, toddlers and preschoolers alike all experience a rich, nurturing and joyful learning environment where free play and being outside in nature our our priority.
Mountainside is proudly locally and family owned and operated. You will see our owners at Mountainside on a daily basis doing all sorts of jobs from teaching your previous tamariki, to admin, to cooking to doing the washing, as well as maintenance and gardening, lawn mowing and painting!
Liz (one of our owners) is passionate about the early years and the importance of our tamariki being able to play, to explore and be curious as they learn important life skills to set them up to set them up for later life and later schooling years.
We are so privileged at Mountainside to have a team of like minded, passionate, experienced and qualified kaiako to teach and care for your tamariki, empower them to grow and learn and to set them up for success.
