Little Firefly is a beautiful renovated historical homestead bringing history to life, located in the heart of Helensville.
The centre is licensed for 35 children, including 15 under twos, allowing individual quality care and great ratios.
Our caring and passionate teachers build strong and trusting relationships with children and families and provide an environment you can call home away from home.

Fees and Hours Attending
We offer 3 different fee structures, depending on your families needs.
School day hours 8.30am - 2.30pm
Extended day hours 8.00am - 3.30pm
Full Day hours 7.30am - 4.30pm
Nutrition
We are a lunch box centre, food is provided by the parents. We encourage healthy good choices for children along with waste free lunch boxes, Ministry of Health safe guidelines are encouraged.
Nappies and Toilet Learning
Nappies are provided by the parents.
As your child starts the journey from nappies to underpants, please don’t worry. We are here to support your child - it is all a learning process.
Statutory Holidays and Christmas
We close for statutory holidays. Normal fees apply.
The centre is open 52 weeks of the year. For non attendance during the christmas break NO FEES will be charged. Parents will be notified on the christmas dates in November.
The last working day before Christmas the centre closes at 3pm.
