We believe all tamariki deserve the very best start in life and it’s our job to make that happen. Our mahi lays the foundation for a lifetime of curiosity and learning. Together with you and our dedicated kaiako, we’ll guide your tamariki through their early learning years and help them reach their unique potential.

At Little Parrots, we believe in the power of whanaungatanga – the strong bond that ties our Little Parrots whānau together. Comprising tamariki, whānau and kaiako, our daycare in Mount Maunganui is more than just a learning centre – it’s a home where relationships are cherished, and everyone feels a sense of belonging. We also believe tamariki deserve to grow up safe, respected, and surrounded by people who honour their mana. That’s why we don’t share identifying images of children on social media or in our marketing. Protecting their identity isn’t just about privacy—it’s about keeping them safe, reducing online risks, and making sure their story stays theirs to tell.

Spaces are now open for your tamariki. We have an open door policy for whānau, which means you can drop in anytime and visit. If you’re looking to enrol your tamariki, feel free to pop in and have a cuppa with us anytime between 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday. We are open 52 weeks of the year and only close for public holidays.
