At Pakuranga Learning Centre, we welcome all children and families with a smile, open arms, and enthusiasm. With an open-door policy, parents are welcome to stay and spend time with their children whenever they want.
Our goal is to provide guidance and developmentally appropriate learning experiences that set foundational skills for healthy growth and development in our children. The focus of these experiences is sensory, physical, language, music, art, all learned through “child-initiated play.”
We make it a high priority to help children acquire good self-image and promote an “I can do it” attitude. It is our goal to provide an environment that makes children feel at home and welcomed. In our program, children will feel supported as they engage with new ideas and learning.
Our program is inspired by nature and sustainability. We believe that children should guide their own learning through experiences of touching, moving, listening, and observing.
Your child will have immense opportunities of using natural and recycled resources indoors as well as outdoors.
Regular excursions, nature walks, and community interaction are part of our curriculum. We believe that through nature children think, question and make hypothesis thereby developing inquisitive minds.
