A little about us

Creative Minds Childcare is a small, family owned, boutique centre in the heart of Henderson, on Edmonton Road. We are located near the Henderson shops and close to motorway connections.

Our Philosophy
We offer nurturing Early Childhood Education for tamariki aged 0 to 6 years. Creative Minds offers personalised care in a small, family owned, well positioned, Henderson centre where we foster strong relationships with children and whānau.

Why Choose Us?

  • Experienced and passionate educators
  • Caring and safe environment
  • Small boutique centre
  • Specialised transition-to-school programme
  • Individualised curriculum
  • Large back yard for daily adventures
  • Healthy, fresh meals cooked onsite
  • Highly qualified teachers
  • Plenty of parking for easy pick up and drop off
  • A garden that children cultivate and harvest
  • A carpentry centre for those engineering projects
  • Messy play - our educators design learning activities to enage your children through play. We used a variety of materials, including natural materials to inspire our learners.

Our Values

Relationships:
Interactions between adults and children are built on trust, respect, and understanding. The child’s best interests are always prioritised. We recognise that each child is unique and respond to their needs accordingly.

Communication:
Communication is regular, purposeful, and positive, supporting strong connections between teachers, children, and whānau. We use Storypark for regular updates to our community.

Life-Long Learning:
Adults and children learn with and alongside one another, nurturing the skills, attitudes, and dispositions needed for life-long learning.

Environment:
Our environment reflects our commitment to quality, offering thoughtfully designed spaces, resources, and learning experiences that promote exploration and appreciation of people, places, and things.

Growth:
We view both adults and children as capable, competent learners. Ongoing learning and development are encouraged and supported.
