St Pauls Kindergarten

We welcome all families seeking a Christian values based education for their preschool tamariki. St Paul's Kindergarten acknowledges that each tamaiti (child) is a unique and precious taonga (treasure) who will develop in their own time. A Catholic ethos is at the heart of our service and infuses everything we do throughout the day. We believe tamariki (children) learn best when they feel secure so we want them to experience a safe, healthy, Christian environment where values such as aroha (love), manaakitanga (trust, kindness, empathy, honesty and respect for one another and our surroundings) are important. We value the funds of knowledge that parents, whanau and tamariki (children) bring with them. Parents, whanau and kaiako will develop responsive, respectful relationships, whanaungatanga, so we can work collaboratively to assist tamariki (children) to achieve their learning goals. We believe that learning through play is a valued way to learn. As tamariki (children) are naturally curious they explore, experiment, discover and solve problems in imaginative playful ways. We want to give them opportunities to flourish and grow. It is important to us that your tamariki (children) enjoy their time here and have fun.
