Set in the growing West Auckland community of Westgate and Massey, you’ll find the bespoke and beautiful New Shoots Early Childhood Centre. Native bush on one side and a new subdivision just across the road, it’s the perfect place for families to find their children’s home away from home.
Inside our architecturally designed building are earthy timber walls, cosy couches and engaging play areas. The days are infused with calming and respectful rituals, be it fruit tea upon arrival or yoga after lunch. In each room, our passionate teachers promote free play, encouraging children to explore the world around them in their own unique way.
Opportunities for fun and learning are boundless at Westgate and there’s something for everyone – a fully stocked wooden kitchen for budding chefs, curious craft tables for future artists, and comfy reading nooks for quiet reflection.
Time spent outside is incredibly important to growing tamariki, which is why our generous outdoor area is accessible to everyone from babies to preschoolers. Children are always busy building sand castles, zooming along the bike track, and traipsing across the natural grass.
Relationships are at the heart of our early childhood centre and we foster connections both within our walls and beyond. From celebrating Chinese New Year to Diwali, whānau nights to Pink Ribbon brunches, we always include and reflect our diverse community.
