If you are looking to enrol your child at a centre that cares and nurtures them, then you have found the right place. Here at Ellerslie we are a group of educators that are passionate about what we do.
At Ellerslie we provide a variety of learning opportunities for our children. These aren't just based only at the centre itself but also within our local community such as gymnastics at the rec centre, local walks through the reserve, and visits to both our local community hub and library. Our team of educators provide an environment that is interactive, age-appropriate, stimulating and safe not only for our tamariki, but also for our whanau.
We believe that the inclusion of our family and community are an integral part of every child's development. Therefore our teachers take every opportunity to communicate with our whanau/ extended whanau (verbally and through Story Park), in order to build those long life relationships that build trust and unity over the coming years.

Our environment supports nature both inside and outside – located within a large park space with a range of different landscapes, we have easy access to the wider world, with an arts and craft area, a range of books and a block space to enable children to explore and discover what they’ve seen outside.

Learning also comes from within. Our home corner enables children to free-play and role-play, stirring, filling, emptying, pouring, shaking, trying things on and taking them off.

Ellerslie has a variety of play areas - access to playing fields and wide open spaces, and also the recreation centre / gym for up to 3 sessions a week with our fully trained team of instructors
