We provide flexible, open-ended activity-based experiences to ensure all our students become confident and involved learners. Their learning is often in the form of projects so children have opportunities to explore, observe, hypothesise, question and discuss to clarify their understanding.
Every space within the early learning school has been carefully created to stimulate a child’s imagination so they can discover new skills and interests under the safe supervision of our teachers.
A positive foundation for learning
We encourage children to develop a love of learning at a young age by creating opportunities for them to explore, experiment, solve problems and express themselves as individuals.
Our learning programme is inspired by the Reggio Emilia educational philosophy and the New Zealand Early Childhood curriculum, Te Whariki. This structured approach, which includes specialist music teaching, will ensure children are well prepared for the next stage of their educational journey – primary school.

The large central play area forms the hub of the school and encourages interaction among students, offering children the opportunity to develop oral language skills while nurturing social relationships.
