Meet the Kumeu centre manager Hadleigh!
Hi! I am the manager of Junior Junction Kumeu. I have been working in early childhood since 2001 and have been a part of the Junior Junction family since 2009. Throughout my career I have taught all age groups, before taking on a management role a few years ago. My passion is creating welcoming environments that support authentic experiences, relationships, and exploration.
It is my belief that respectful, reciprocal, responsive relationships are the key to enabling children to reach their full potential and discover a love of learning. When teachers are passionate and genuinely care about the children and their families, they take the time to find out what is important to both the children and their families through observation and open, honest communication. This allows them to create an environment and provide experiences to meet the needs of every individual in our centre community.
