When you enquire with us as a family, we support you to self-match with a Tiny Nation educator of your choice. The choice factor is huge here – you get to choose the person you leave your child with when you can’t be there. You will choose your educator based on the needs of your family and child, your values, your own early learning philosophy and, most importantly, your connection with them. This allows you to find the perfect educator for your family – someone who will become a part of your support village and who will advocate fiercely for your child when you can’t. • Small ratios of no more than four children to one educator

By choosing home-based early learning, you are choosing small groups and responsive relationships. Tiny Nation educators have no more than four pre-school children in their care at any given time, with no more than two under the age of two. This allows them to engage with their care children in meaningful ways, dedicating time to support their development and getting to know them deeply. Te Whare Aroha O Nga Mokopuna is a Community based Early Childhood Centre situated on the Kimi Ora Community School Site in Flaxmere. 

We cater for 70 children aged from 6months to 5 years and have a diverse range of cultures including Maori, Cook Island Maori, Tongan, and Samoan.

Welcome to Morgan Educare

Where we Care for and Educate Children from three months to age six.

We are a small centre with a large teaching team. We care and educate tamariki three months old till the age of 6yrs. We go on a lot of trips into the local community and wider community, so tamariki get to experience real life.  We are locally owned and operated.

Our Aim

Morgan Educare Centre 2 aims to provide an environment rich in respectful practices in which children have the opportunity to foster their independence and identity through warm reciprocal relaionships and a free play environment based around urges observed by the teaching team.

Te Tipu Whenua Early Childhood Centre is a purpose-built early learning service attached to Te Tipu Whenua o Pa Harakeke, a teen parent unit (TPU) located in the grounds of Flaxmere College.

Te Kāinga Pōtiki ō Pāharakeke Early Childhood Centre is governed by the Kahungunu Health Services Charitable Trust. The day-to-day management is the responsibility of a centre manager. The physical space provides two separate areas for younger and older children.

Punavai o le Gagana Samoa is governed by the Punavai o le Gagana Samoa Trust and affiliated to the Hastings Samoan Parish of the Methodist Church of New Zealand. The staff and trustees include both long-serving and new members from the parish and community. Many have long-standing connections to the aoga, and the local community.

The purpose of the aoga is to maintain and grow children's use of the Samoan language, and knowledge of spiritual, cultural and social values and beliefs. The aoga philosophy promotes children being confident and proud of their Samoan heritage and identity. Four pou underpin the purpose and vision: faaleagaga, tautua, alofa and fa'aaloalo.
