A little about us

M – represents the magical moments that need to be recognized and represents celebrated; it’s about our mokopuna and continuing the legacy that was built by our tipuna.  It is also about strengthening our mana and growing our pride and identity.

A –symbolizes our aspirations for our tamariki to aim high whilst nurturing their sense of self-worth. It is also about acknowledging parents and whanau as collaborative partners in their children’s educational pathways.

N – embodies our abilities as facilitators to provide nutrition. Also, to nurture the hauora (mind, body and soul) of our tamiriki.

A – is for the attitudes and ambition we set for ourselves as we experiment with various dispositions that will help us in achieving success.

K – stands for the continual need to develop knowledge, skills and attitudes. It is about showing kindness and respect for one another; including Mother Earth as we regard ourselves as kaitiaki of Papatūānuku.

O – shows the provision of opportunities, originality and ‘ofa (love) for all.
