Welcome to Thrive Learning Centre – a modern, early childhood centre at the heart of Otumoetai. We pride ourselves on delivering the best in early childhood education - lower ratios, purpose-built learning areas and passionate teaching professionals for every age group. Our vision at Thrive is to nurture the next generation and provide inspired education, through being innovative, warm and growing loving relationships with our children and their whanau.

Conveniently located within 500 meters of both Otumoetai and Brookfield Primary School’s, we offer one of the largest outdoor spaces in Tauranga. Spacious environments that foster exploration and creativity, reflecting the needs and interests of growing children. 

Our philosophy

At Thrive Learning Centre we aim to develop learner’s physical, intellectual, creative, emotional, social and language skills to their highest potential. As a centre, we have developed the following factors that encompass our collective philosophy:

•  A natural homely environment with natural products
•  Our teaching is based on respect for all children and forming supportive and reliable relationships
•  We use whanau groups within the room to teach at the childs individual level of development
•  We believe in the ‘multiple intelligence theory’ and provision the centre and our planning loosely around these intelligences
