Te Mata Kindergarten

The children develop independence, confidence and initiative. They become active learners with an extensive general knowledge. The programme is focused on each child’s individual and specific interest. All the children learn from the curriculum and share their ideas, resources, and knowledge. Families are recognized as a valuable part of the learning and often share their skills and talents.

Te Mata has a large natural outdoor play area with many mature trees. There are many areas for children to enjoy large motor challenges and quiet, restful niches. The Kindergarten is very well resourced with modern, clean and maintained equipment. There are many choices for the children to explore, develop and enjoy.
