Kidz & Crayonz Early Learning Centre

At Kidz & Crayonz we believe that each child comes with their own individual identity, strengths, interests, values and beliefs which makes them unique.

With this in mind, we aim to develop children’s creativity and self-confidence through providing stimulating and developmentally appropriate opportunities that will interest and motivate them to take leadership in their own educational journey.

Our learning environment is founded on the principles, strands and goals laid out in Te Whariki in our Early Childhood Curriculum. We embrace the Te Tiriti O Waitangi practises and principles-partnership. We value respect of others and respect by others.

We are an inclusive centre providing exciting learning opportunities which celebrates all cultural differences and learning abilities in our Community. We embrace our Tamariki as active explorers and encourage them to think, wonder and grow through play-based learning while forming friendships and building self-esteem through holistic practise.

We strongly believe in supporting our community and that it takes a village to raise a child. This is why we value parent-teacher collaboration and provide an open door policy where parents/caregivers/whanau are encouraged and welcomed to discuss their aspirations for their children and expectations from the Centre in a respectful and honest manner. Working alongside each other helping our children achieve their very best potential.
